Grown-ups like numbers. When you tell them about a new friend, they never ask questions about what really matters. They never ask: "What does his voice sound like?" "What games does he like best?" "Does he collect butterflies?". They ask: "How old is he?" "How many brothers does he have?" "How much does he weigh?" "How much money does his father make?" Only then do they think they know him. ---Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

To begin? Let's start with trees
The other day I read an article in Newsweek about the alarming decline of creativity in America. So I thought I'd make a blog full of ideas and questions and creations of all sorts. Here's one of the crafts I like best to teach anyone. Children, adults, friends, new-made acquaintances. It's very simple, and all you need is a paperbag, tissuepaper, and a little glue.
Here's one I've made. Enjoy!
